About SEKONDflow

SEKOND began as a creative brand that transformed textiles into unique pieces through upcycling. Our aim was clear: to give forgotten materials a new lease of life.

Nela Grau

CEO & Co-Founder

I am a biologist specialising in sustainability, having studied at the University of New Orleans and holding a Master’s degree in Neuromarketing from the Complutense University of Madrid.

This combination allows me to bring together science and consumer behaviour to drive transformation strategies in the textile industry.

Through SEKOND, a project I founded and where I serve as CEO, I lead the comprehensive management of textile surpluses in sectors such as fashion, hospitality and workwear.

We design circular solutions based on sorting, repair, upcycling, eco-design and recycling, always ensuring traceability, impact measurement and economic viability.

I have worked with social workshops and local and international suppliers, and validated sustainable production chains in countries such as Portugal.
My approach combines sustainability, strategy and action, with the conviction that only through collaboration can we build a truly circular and regenerative textile system.

My career combines engineering, sustainability and business acumen, always with the aim of making an impact.
As co-founder of SEKOND and Head of New Business Development, I lead the expansion of circular textile solutions to transform the industry from within.
